1. ) Halloween Piñata in your backyard. Kids love piñatas! Fill a frightful piñata with delightful treats.
2. ) Candy Hide N Seek. Think Easter Egg Hunt but with Halloween candy. The kids will love hunting for their treats this year!
3. ) Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt. Search for different Halloween items and give your child a piece of candy when they spot them.
4.) Halloween Costume Dance Party. Dress up, turn on some spooky music, and dance around the house with the kiddos! Monster Mash is one of our favorite Halloween songs.
5.) Outdoor Pumpkin Carving. Invite a few friends over for a socially distant carving activity. Everyone can bring their own pumpkins and carving tools. Or if you prefer … have a virtual Pumpkin Carving Party on Zoom! Don’t forget to roast the seeds!
6.) Build a Halloween-inspired Gingerbread house for the whole family to enjoy.
7.) BOO someone! Leave a spooky treat on a neighbor’s doorstep, ring the doorbell, and run! Usually it’s anonymous but we suggest signing your name to the treats this year. Here is a fun blog post that has lots of different BOO poems for you to choose from.
